WORKPLACE LAWYER, EDMONTON
About Dylan Robertson
Dylan is an associate practicing employment law in the Edmonton office. His practice primarily focuses on wrongful and constructive dismissals, severance reviews, harassment complaints, and restrictive covenants.
Dylan obtained his law degree from the University of Alberta. Prior to joining Taylor Janis, Dylan practiced at two prominent regional firms in Yellowknife and Edmonton, with an emphasis on labour and employment law, insurance litigation, and wills & estates law. Dylan has represented clients ranging from individuals to national corporations at various levels of Court in Alberta, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut, as well as in mediations and alternative dispute resolutions. These past experiences continue to inform Dylan’s client-centred practice at Taylor Janis.
Dylan understands that navigating employment law matters can be confusing and stressful, especially for employees who unexpectedly require a lawyer for the first time in their careers. He understands that each legal matter is different and strives to approach each in a meticulous and empathetic manner. He seeks to level the playing field between employer and employee by providing clients with clear, thorough, and cost-effective legal services to ensure they are in the best possible position to achieve their objectives, whether that be through negotiation, mediation, or litigation.
In his free time, Dylan enjoys exploring Edmonton’s underrated food scene and going for long runs in the river valley to burn off the calories. Dylan looks forward to putting his advocacy skills and experience to work for you. Please call us or fill in the inquiry form if you would like to request a consultation with Dylan, and a member of our team will contact you promptly to schedule a consultation.
